Description

This rubberised neodymium disc magnet has a countersunk hole on both sides and is particularly suitable for temporarily hanging signs, attaching tools etc. It is popular in booth construction, shopfitting and signage technology, among other things, and can be fastened with a matching countersunk screw.

The big advantage of a hole on both sides is that two magnets can be easily combined. The north pole of these magnets is indicated with a small hole in the rubber coating. The exact dimensions of the hole can be found in the technical data. To minimise the loss of adhesive force due to the additional rubber coating, this disc magnet is two millimetres thicker and has a stronger magnetisation (N42) compared to similar non-rubberised screw-on magnets. Without rubber coating, the magnet has a diameter of approx. 27 mm and a height of approx. 5 mm. With rubber coating, the diameter is approx. 28,5 mm and the height is 7,5 mm.

Please note: Not all holding surfaces are level, which is why magnets need a little slack. This allows them to optimally align with the ferromagnetic object and extend the highest adhesive force. That is why we recommend fastening these magnets by hand.

The rubber coating protects delicate surfaces from scratches, increases the load capacity in shear direction and protects the disc magnet from splashes and occasional moisture. However, this magnet is not suitable for permanent outdoor use as it can lead to rust. For outdoor use, we recommend our Pot magnets with ferrite magnets.
