Description

This rectangular magnet system with two internal threads is perfect for use on delicate surfaces. The rubber casing made of TPV prevents scratches and provides slip resistance. Underneath the rubber coating is a rectangular steel plate with 6 embedded neodymium magnets. These magnets are aligned with alternating upward-facing north and south poles. The rubber coating protects the magnet system from occasional moisture and splash water. During permanent outdoor use, however, rust can form. Our ferrite pot magnets, on the other hand, are rust-proof.

Please note: This magnet system has a full-length internal thread, requiring extra care when threading screws, hooks and the like to prevent damage to the rubber coating.

If you want to reposition the magnet system, please do not attempt to remove it by dragging it along the mounting surface. This will damage the rubber coating. Instead, remove the magnet by tilting it with the help of a plastic handle. You can find a suitable handle for this magnet system linked below.

The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and complete flush contact. Magnet systems already start to lose part of their adhesive force at a small distance from the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets. You can find additional fascinating information on our FAQ page about magnet system characteristics.

The structure of magnet systems

In magnet systems, one or several magnets are mounted on a steel plate with alternating poles. This concentrates the adhesive force of the magnets on one side of the system which, in turn, has a positive effect on the adhesive force. The steel plate with the magnets is encased in rubber. For more information, please refer to our FAQ page on the characteristics of magnet systems.
