Description

This pot magnet with threaded stud has an adhesive force of approx. 39 kg. Removing magnets with such a high adhesive force from smooth surfaces is not an easy task. That’s where the included plastic handle proves useful. The screwed-in handle creates leverage and makes it easier to detach the pot magnet from the holding surface.
You also have the option of using the pot magnet with other accessories from our assortment. For example, with a ring nut to mount heavy objects. You can find matching accessory products linked below. Please note: Carefully screw accessories such as screws, hooks etc. into the threaded bushing as far as they will go.

The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the pot magnet makes direct and full flush contact. Pot magnets already lose much of their adhesive force at a distance of only half a millimetre to the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in pot magnets than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets. You can find additional fascinating information on our FAQ page about pot magnet features.

Additional features and tips

The structure of pot magnets

Pot magnets have a neodymium or ferrite magnet built into a steel pot. When it comes into direct contact with a surface, its force will be focused on the holding surface as a result. This increases the adhesive force of the magnet. For more information, please refer to our FAQ page on the characteristics of pot magnets.
